Here’s how the process works from input to resolution:

Upon entry into CGC’s Automated Collection Program, each account is distributed to the appropriate staff member in a pre-established order.

   

All new accounts are queued to an Account Manager’s terminal for calling within 24 hours of placement.

   

Every account has detailed information readily displayed to allow CGC’s collection staff to negotiate in a knowledgeable, professional manner.

   

All collection calls are documented by CGC’s automated collection program. Each call is dated, time stamped and diarized, providing a written record of each conversation to be referred to and acted upon.

   

At the completion of each call, the CGC collections staff member invokes a new status. This status, representative of the result of the call, is used to indicate the account’s priority and the next logical step in the collection process. Each category is weighted and allocated, based on the account status (selected from over 150 possible statuses); to determine the order the account appears on a collector’s call list.

   

Automatic call queuing (forced calls) ensures every account appears on a collector’s call list in a priority driven sequence established by the new status.

   

All correspondence is managed through the system’s automated letter.
